Fall Business Meeting
The Fall Business Meeting is a chance for the E-Board and all voting members (member schools represented by an OCC) to meet once before the ORHA Conference to discuss various points of business. Membership fees are collected at this meeting and voting rights are suspended until this payment is made. The Fall Business Meeting is not much different than any regularly scheduled online meeting, however it allows for all who are present to get to know each other more personally and bond as board members. Each executive member and OCC is required to present an update on their residence hall’s progress within the first few months of the fall semester. During this time, it is also suggested that each member school submits a report on their progress to be added to the ORHA Resource File Index database for future reference.
If non-member schools wish to send a representative to gain more information about ORHA and how these meetings operate, guests are welcome to attend this formal meeting, however the Director and host school must be notified well in advance in order to accommodate the extra attendees.
